Univyrse User Agreement
By using Univyrse to buy or sell college applications, you agree to the terms below.
1. Buyers — confidentiality
Application content you purchase is licensed to you for your own personal reference only. You may download and keep a personal copy of what you bought. You may not share, copy, resell, republish, post, or otherwise reveal any purchased essay, profile detail, or other application content to any other person or service, in whole or in part. You may not submit purchased content as your own to any school or program. Violating this is a breach of this agreement and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
2. Sellers — your content & removal
You confirm the application you list is genuinely your own and accurate. When you create a listing, its content is stored on Univyrse's database so it can be verified and delivered to buyers. You keep control of it from your Sales page: Unlist hides a listing from the marketplace (you can relist it anytime, and existing buyers keep their access), while Delete permanently removes the stored application, its reviews, and its verification. If anyone has already purchased it, deletion takes effect after a one-day notice so they can download their copy first. You grant Univyrse permission to display a preview and to deliver the full content to buyers while the listing is active.
3. Honesty & verification
Everything you list must be true. For each school, you must upload genuine proof of your admission offer, which Univyrse staff review before your listing goes live. Misrepresenting an admission offer, faking verification, or selling an application that is not your own is fraud and may violate the law, including statutes on fraud and forgery. Doing so will result in removal of your listings, forfeiture of proceeds, account termination, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
4. Payments & fees
Payments are processed by Stripe. Univyrse retains a 10% platform fee; the remaining 90% is paid out to the seller's connected bank account automatically. Sellers must complete payout setup before their listings can be purchased.
5. Reviews
Only buyers who have purchased a listing may review it. Reviews must be honest and must not disclose the confidential content of the application.
6. No admission guarantee
Applications are sold for reference and inspiration. Univyrse makes no guarantee of any admission or scholarship outcome.
